Each participant then plays one game against each of the other three players in their group. At the end of the third game, the winner of each group receives a trophy. Quads typically finish in 1-2 hours, but can potentially take as long as 3 hours, although that is rare. Games are 25 minutes with a 5 second delay for each player, for players using clocks. GMChessPrep Academy, owned by GM Rashad Babaev, is excited to announce that we will be hosting online USCF quick rated tournaments every other week on Saturdays at 11 AM EST time. In addition to tournament access, participants will receive full access to GMChessPrep's material and database. For a small fee of $15, players can participate in two tournaments during the month. This is a great opportunity for chess enthusiasts to compete with like-minded individuals and improve their game by learning from GMChessPrep's extensive resources.
