Support to Scholastic Chess in VA Nov 15, 2017 Provided 20 chess sets (boards and pieces) to Tina Schweiss (VA Beach) for distribution to an Elementary School club and a High School Club.
Support to Military Chess Dec 1, 2017 Defray costs paid by volunteers for event awards and trophies, lodging and travel.  There were no cash awards at this event.
Support to Scholastic Chess in VA March 4, 2018 The combined $1,515 in donations by the VCF, Mr. Punogoti and the McNair Chess Club will support Virginia's representatives to the Denker Tournament of State HS Champions, the Barber Tournament of State K8 Champions, and the National Girls Tournament of Champions ... all being held in Aug 2018 in Madison, WI, as part of the 2018 U.S. Open.
Support to Scholastic Chess in VA March 16, 2018 $500 provided to Thomas Jefferson HS for S&T to represent VA at the 2018 National High School Chess Championships.  "TJ" was the top-finishing team at the 2018 VA Scholastic Championships held the first weekend of March.
Support to Military Chess Oct 5, 2018 $1,250 to pay for Awards, facilities use and TD fees for the 2018 US Armed Forces Open Chess Championships from the $500 donations by VCF members Mike Hoffpauir and Thomas Belke.  There are no cash awards at this event.
Support to VA Representative to the tournament of State Senior Champions August 2019 $500 stipend provided to Shawn Hoshall to represent the Commonwealth at the tournament of State Senior Champions held during the US Open in Orlando FL
Support to Military Chess October 2019 $149.95 contributed to fund the Trophies for Under and Special Awards at the 2019 US Armed Forces Open Chess Championships at Camp LeJeune, NC, Oct 12-14, 2019
Support to Scholastic Chess in VA Sept 6, 2021 40 Chess Sets (boards and pieces) provided to the Hampton Roads Scholastic Chess Association (c/o Tina chweiss) for distribution to local schools in the greater Norfolk / VA Beach area.
