NOTE:
The Main Tournament
has 5 Rounds, Blitz will have 4 rounds.
-
There are
2 Sections within each Grade-group.
-
K-3 Championship & K-3 Under
600. The K-3 Under 600 Section
is for players rated 599 and below, including Unrated players.
-
K-5 Championship & K-5 Under
1000. K-5 Under 1000 is for
players rated 999 and below, including Unrated players.
-
K-8 Championship & K-8 Under
1200. K-8 Under 1200 is for
players rated 1199 and below, including Unrated players.
-
K-12 Championship & K-12
Under 1400. K-12 Under 1400 is
for players rated 1399 and below, including Unrated players.
-
Unrated Players
can play in the
Championship or Under sections
within their grade group. ALSO,
players are not "required" to play in the Under
Sections based on their ratings. In other
words, parents, players and coaches may form a team in one of the
Championship Sections that contains players who would otherwise be
eligible to play in one of the "Under" sections. For
instance, just because an 11th Grade player is rated 1350 does NOT
mean s/he has to play in the K12 Under 1400 Section. That
player may
play with his/her teammates in the Championship Section.
